Extract COM1XExt.dll from .zip. We recommend that you extract COM1XExt.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting COM1XExt.dll.
If that doesn't work, you will have to extract COM1XExt.dll to your system directory. By default, this is:

Reboot your computer.

Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
Type regsvr32 COM1XExt.dll and press Enter.
